Wanting Resources!

Hi guys.

Im currently in the process of creating my own website - games, comedy , and forums / cool things related.

Now im looking for some nifty little things - some i have already have found on these forums (r.e the file uploader).

However i am looking for a cool chat applet or flash program / php or even javascript which is free so i can put one onto my site.

Also i am looking for resources websites - you will have heard of www.dyanamicdrive.com sites like these with code that is open for use.

Please try to recommend to me!
