avi to swf
Hi guys,
I have some 3d animated movies i made and i want to put them on my website for people to be able to view. Ive heard there are programs that let you convert the avi into a flash file which drastically reduces the size and also enables you to have them stream off the net. Does anyone know of a good program that does this.. im having a real hard time finding anything of the sort. thanks. KF |

Well it might just be me but I find it funny how two new people joined the forums just to make this one post and say thanks. Honestly I think the owner of the program posted it then made two comments so people would buy it. Then again thats how I think... o.O

Well you could always check ip's as a mod haha *coughs* but yah thats what I honestly think. Plus anyone that knows anything about Macromedia Flash MX knows you can import avi files and change the sound bit rate etc and it will drop in size then you just export it to a swf file.
![]() It was a valid question but someone no doubt thought they could make a quick buck off of it and tryed to take it. ![]() ^.^ I just hope that it honestly wasnt the owner of the program because that would really deface the program... If your program is doing so bad then you should try and make it better not post more ads and tell more people. Then again I cant blame someone for trying haha... |

Personaly I wouldnt want to spend 100 bucks on something so usless.... Then again thats me. I rather use a free tool or just allow macromedia to convert it and it allows you to change the compression etc so you can change it without much issues. You just start up macromedia flash mx click file>import then select the avi file and change the settings etc.. Once its done importing click file>export movie then select the area to save it and the name and looky here....
YOU SAVED 100 BUCKS *smirks* |

i don't think that saving money is a great idea when you want to get a qualitative output, it's not so useless. that programs are specially made for this!for example i have a tool VisiFly, not an expensive program- 39.95, but i like its quality. |

I hate if you get some prog and don't understand how it works... And so you need load tutorials or ask in forums "Hey folks I need your help! How is this damn thing working??"
![]() Ok that's why I like Video to Flash Converter Pro. Nothing tutorials, prog's work is easy... All functions is under control... etc.. ![]() |
