Macromedia Flash MX works just fine if you have a copy of it. If you change the settings some on it you can get just as good of an swf file as any other program there is nothing special about thoughs vs Macromedia Flash MX just because it was made for it doesnt mean its compression is any better because in the end a swf file can only be compressed within the limits of the swf extension. Iv already done testing with many types of programs they all come back with the same resaults what Id recommend is using flv ofc swf if your after compression. Like youtube does but in the end im not going to pay 30 to 100 bucks for software thats made to only do one thing when I have software already that works just as great sorry but to me I see flaw in ur logic.

I have used Video/AVI to Flash/SWF to convert avi to swf for a long time. It is very useful for me. Here is the guide and faq of the software.
A few days ago, my friend remmended a powerful freeware named SUPER. It seems it can do this too.

Well like I orignally said. I personally wouldnt pay for something an I really wouldnt pay 100 bucks for a software to give me something that a free software could. It is very easy to find free programs that would convert whatever you like for no cost at all an they work just as good as the others all it takes is a few minutes of googling an searching.

Yall can go ahead an recommend what ever you like but when I open up every page I find it really funny how you need to buy all of them. They all seem like ads rather then something worth the time looking at.

Few minutes of search an I found this an its free. http://www.download.com/SWF-Video/3...tml?tag=lst-0-3 I can't say iv used it or would recommend it because Iv never used it an its new from what I can tell but none the less its a free tool that does convert avi to swf an seeing as its free you can try it an if you dont like it you are more then welcome to go an buy the other software for 30 or 100 bucks an hate it too. Then get mad when you cant get your money back.

Well if you are crazy enough to pay 100 bucks for the tool here let me sell you a cd rom soda cup holder an for another 100 bucks ill add some buttons : )! I find it really funny how most of the links posted are all domain names that have a new front page but redirect you to buy a program for 100 bucks. Lets face it this topic is just flat out open to people trying to make a quick buck off poor souls that dont know what they are doing. Honestly I wish this topic would get locked there is a m***ive amount of FREE tools out there that can convert avi to swf with no trouble an hardly any h***le meaning you select the file an press a button.

http://www.avi-swf-convert.com/default.asp << Swf to AVI converter a free program might I add now to post a free avi to swf converter...

Ok I managed to find this http://www.zerosoftware.it/download...Cat=3&idFile=16 sure its not the best but it gets the job done an gives you a play button etc. It took me all but 10 minutes to find this using google im sure if anyone here tried they could find something the works even better the point im making is you got to go looking for what you want an it doesnt hurt to ask but dont just stop looking if you cant find it right away.

As a side note any other type of coverting for avi id recommend http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html its free an it does everything all the other programs say they can do plus more for free so pfft on 100 bucks for a program.

An this topic should really get locked the freakin bots are like loving this post an its getting annoying because they are just trying to trick people into pay for an over priced program that no doubt doesnt even work or with any luck isnt even real.

Enough with the bloody ads in attempts to make some cash of some poor sucker! God it's so annoying when people go looking for real help help and have some people just stomp out onto the forums an post a link to a website they run to make an easy buck of some suckers. Thats not helping its just an ad! Honestly this topic should just get locked an left at that I mean really by now it seems every bot on the net is catching the topic.
