Question GoogleGear.com???

Well I am thinking of ordering from googlegear.com. I was just wondering whether anyone has had any luck or badluck with them. I have read great reviews from Pricegrabber.com but it sounds like professionals that don't have the slightest idea about it are leaving good things to say about it.

I have basically used 4 resellers:
1. www.newegg.com
2. www.jab-tech.com
3. www.googlegear.com
4. www.crucial.com

I have had EXCELLENT service from all 4.

I mostly use newegg, because it is fairly close to me...and If I order before 11 am, I get the products the next day by 3 pm-- that is really hard to beat.

I can only say good things about all 4 vendors, and I have ordered extensively from each.

Well I warn people about googlegear all the time.......IF you have a CREDIT CARD....they are fine to use! IF you DON'T have a CREDIT CARD.....then DO NOT USE THEM!! They will accept money orders....but I don't think they like accepting them very much! I purchased a expensive video card from them one time and paid by money order.(Didn't have a credit card) I had to pay the amount of the amount of the video card I was purchasing to the store where I purchased the money order... along with 99 cents extra for the money order itself. So MOST places on the internet will send an order out that same day as soon as they get the money order in their hands, because it is like a cashiers check, the funds have already been paid!

BUT.....googlegear has a policy for some strange reason, that if they recieve an order paid for by money order...THEY MAKE YOU WAIT TWO WEEKS BEFORE SENDING THE ORDER OUT!! They say this gives the money order time to "clear the bank"??( gee thats funny....I thought the funds were already paid for by ME??) So it was about three weeks later that I finally recieved my card! I will NEVER and I repeat NEVER do business with that company again! If they are going to penalize me because I don't have a credit card, screw 'em!! I have went to www.newegg.com and gotten far better prices and better service than I ever got with googlegear. So again if you are using a credit card, go for it, but if not stay as far away from them as you can!!

Best thing about newegg is that on a lot of items (and it changes) you can get FREE Shipping.

Crucial also offers free shipping.
