Ok, advice from the experts please!
The last week, ImageReady has been causing me grief. When I create anything that requires me to "save optimized..." or "save optimized as..." it gives me an error message that says "Could not complete this operation because an assertion has failed." What the heck does this mean? How do I fix it? I have a few paying jobs that are going to be a bear if I have to figure out how to write the javascripts I need for the pages! Yes, I am panicking at this point! I searched the help archive, have looked online for a week, and find no referrence to this error anywhere...

An assertion, dear little goat, is in when something happens which shouldn't have happened, or in other words, if an assertion fails, the rest of the program will fail because it will be unable to handle the current situation.
Whenever an assertion fails, the program will stop, and as you will understand this is a quite useful thing for developers at times the program is developed. This leads me to the sad conclusion, that one of the following probably holds: – Adobe's software is just crap – Your copy of Adobe's version got messed up in a way a situation is created which is 'impossible', leading you to an assertion – Your operating system is wasting Adobe's memory – Your document consists of things which complicate a lot matters and hit a weak spot of Adobe's software I don't know which one will the one for you, but you might succeed with a clean install of the Adobe product...

I think we posted at the same time..lol.
Either way, thanks for the explaination, because I was wondering what an assertion was, but was too lazy to look it up and see for myself. As for what I am trying to make it do, just make me a few simple roll-overs, nothing more.
