5700le problems

ok i got a problem i hope you guys can help i bought a geforce 57le oc. now heres the problem when i start splinter cell chaos theory it comes up saying my desk top is set at 8 bit color but i know it set at 32 bit color oh i can play it but i have to change it back to 32 as its loading please help

Why change it back to 32bit if it's already in 32bit mode? I couldn't get the question. Also which version NVidia drivers are you using?

oh thx. iam useing driver 7.1.8.9 and i have to change it back to 32 bit cause when the game starts loading for some reson it changes to 8 bit

I have 71.84. Check for the refresh rate overrides from the driver settings (see screenshot below). And disabling any 8bit color modes for the resolution might work...Sometimes the drivers are locked and they do not have Refresh Rate Override options... You can download: NVTweak - it should unlock what you need...

Don't worry. As I told you NVidia sometimes lock some features in their official drivers. NVTweak just enables them. Or selected ones. Try it and I'm sure you'll find the page I'm talking about
