DVI and TV-OUT Questions

Hello fellow PCT'ers.

I have a question about 2 things. TV OUT Function and the DVI Function.

First i will talk about DVI.

I have a ATI Radeon Atlantis 9600 with TV-OUT and DVI. On the back of my video card is the VGA slot, DVI slot and a S Video bit. My question is, WHAT do i NEED to enable DVI. I have a spare monitor that i will use. What cables do i need and where will they all go. Im taking the female DVI cable goes into the back of the Video card, i also guess ill need a Adapter to plug a VGA Cable from the adapter into the spare monitor. I found this adapter by belkin.

Belkin Pro Series DVI Adapter, DVI Analogue Male - VGA Male
Ebuyer QuickFind - 28523

Will this work? is that the only additional cable i need? once the hardware is done, what are the software requirements?

Ok the TV-OUT question i have is how?

I have a scart lead lead adapter which is something like this.

It has the Yellow, Red, White phono in's and a S Video port.
Can i just plug a S-Video cable from my Video card to this adapter, and then the video out to the tele and the two audo out's to my tv to? or do i have to do it another way?

Thanks for any help or advice

Cheers,

JamesT

as far as the video out goes you can hook the s-video cable to the back of your tv and select the correct on your tv and it should work! The same should be true for the audio cables!

As far as the DVI i can't help you there but i am sure someone will post up an answer!
