New Computer Tvout does not work

Please people Help.

I bought new Dimention 4600 with NVIdia Geforce 5200 video card with TV-out. But when I connected S-video cable from my computer to TV, I got no picture. I set I think everything right in "Video Display advenced options" ->("clone", Computer Monitor displays 1a("primary display") and TV Monitor displays 1b). COuld it be that Video card is setup incorrectly? Can brand new S-Video cord be defective?
Just a little bit more info. Video card is in AGP slot. I use WinXP.

I can not speak to techsupport from Dell. They do not speak English and gave me complete run around. And I can not switch to HP. They have exactly the same tech support.

Please help!!

Just a silly question, did you press the video button on the tv to get it to av-2 first?

S-video is on "Video 1" line on my TV. But just in case. I was clicking every time on "TV/Video" button to check all video channels.

It could be very simple thing. I know. I just do not see it.

It was very simple thing. S-video plug on TV did not work. I bought RF modulator to avoid that bad plug and fix this shebang.

Woohoo. It feels good when you get it fixed yourself.

Couple of lessons

Lesson #1) Do not call Dell or HP tech support expecting help. Just do not call. They speak different language( not techno).

Lesson #2) Remove you cords from floor. Because if you punch through S-video cord, you may fry a lot of expensive things.
