Plugging cable television into an ATI card?

Ok here is a question.. since the ATI all in wonder card supports television while doing other things onth same screen.. i was curious if anyone has actually tried to splice their cable modem.. and plugged a cable directly into the video card to get cable TV at the same time?

Think its possible? I am tempted to try

Yes you can. Put a splitter before the modem and run the extra cable to your video card. I've done it. and you can actually browse the net and your files with the remote that comes with your new AIW all the while watching TV. Isn't it great. You will need to have an extra small cable that will run to your sound card. Especially if you are capturing video. Just take your time and learn each new resource in depth, and you will be learning and using new things for quite awhile. And as an added bonus, you shouldn't have to upgrade your video card for awhile.

Hehe I just had to laugh after reading my last post. All those technical terms I used.*sarcasm* I should have just said put that there cable thingy into the other whatchamacallit. Hehe Hey Cirga. Read the manual that came with the card. It does a great job of explaning everything. Hey, if I can learn how to use this card by reading the manual, anyone can.

Yes you can watch the TV in a separate window and minimise it just like any other window, or resize it, etc.....
