This is what the GeForce FX5600 should have been from the beginning .

Fx5700 ultra is actually faster than the 5900, has ddrII one sweet sucker. Ive actually seen it o`cd to 525/1.2ghz and currently priced at 175 best bang for the buck in my view.

Do you have links that prove this? I am considering getting a FX5700U in January; but the FX5900 LE (2,8 ns instead of 2,2ns) is only a bit more expensive. I don't know... My ATI 9600 Pro performs really well with excellent image quality, but the drivers are not at the same level .

here This one got to 992 but as i have no further evidence since my brother and i accomplished this task and didnt take a screenshot or anything but it was an msi version with a very nice game bundle for 218 at the new egg
but we did this with custom heatsinks and an extra 80mm case fan also the case was "well ventilated".

Thanks, I'll have to look carefuly. I don't overclock, so I still have to consider the FX5900. After Christmas I'll see if I can get a good deal .
