GeForce 3 & OS Conflicts?

Hi all!
I have trouble with a GeForce 3, Ti 200 card. It causes my W2K Pro system to feeze at the Starting Windows status bar.

I didn't realize it was the video card, and had my HDD and Epox Mobo replaced. I've got the newest drives (they say) and no other hardware conflicts.

Has anyone else experienced this, and/or dealt with it successfully? I'm using an old Jaton/Trident card and am about to give the GeForce to the highest bidder. It's been used in all of 2 months out of the year I've had it.

TIA!
Christine

LPDad is on a distinguished road
What settings (agp, etc) in your BIOS do you have set??

There are usually several settings in the BIOS that will affect your video card.
