dynex 5.1 "digital" sound card...
im new to pc tech and i have an issue i would like resolved...i just bought a dynex 5.1 sound card from best buy w/ digital-optical output and i wanted to know if it is compatible w/ the boston digital BA735 speakers because i am not gettin any sound whatsoever??? I am runnin XP and I have an HP A210N Intel Celeron cpu. I have tried pretty much everything, can i get some help please???

thanx for the welcoming. the thing is, the dynex is a digital sound card, but i think it might have something to do w/ the speakers not being capatible w/ an HP computer because on the Boston site it always mentions Gateway...

Impossible. Speakers do get their sound from the soundcard not from HP or anything. So this looks like a sound card issue. Boston mentiones Gateway as a certified partner or kind of hidden advertisement... Nothing else I think.
