Play Audio on Teamspeak
I am looking for a way to play audio files for my friends on Teamspeak.
On theory this should be simple. I just want to be able to output a wav or mp3 to my microphone. Why? While I play World of Warcraft with my friends, we record our conversations at times. One guy in the guild will take these recordings, edit them, and play them back. He does this with speakers and a desktop microphone. I use a headset. This is a pretty hilarious thing he does to us. He actually spliced several conversations together to make it sound like a friend of mine and I were hitting on each other. I want revenge! Thanks in advance. |

Actually very easy to do Make sure before you do this that you tell all your friends to not talk.. because it will come through your soundcard and echo if they do. 1) Go to your windows volume control panel. You can get there by double clicking on the "volume" icon in your taskbar by the clock in the lower corner. 2) Click on Options > Properties > Select Recording > then hit Ok at the bottom. 3) You should see Microphone selected at the bottom in this panel. Uncheck your microphone and put a check in the panel that says "What U Hear" or "Stereo Mix". 4) Now all you have to do is when you play your sound file.. hold down your Press to talk Button.. or if you have voice activation .. before you play the file go into teamspeak preferences and lower your voice activation all the way down. ---- To change it back to your mic.. just go back to the Recording Control panel and put a check in microphone instead of the Mix or What U hear panel.
