What LCD Monitor?
I am thinking of getting an LCD monitor. Wanterd a reccomendation. I will be playing games(HL2, UT2K4, etc.) and doing graphics(photoshop, 3d kind of stuff).
Looking for under $400 |

i think youll find the most common ms speed at the moment is 12 .. its pretty fast, but on games like HL2, when you hit a bright area contrasted with a dark space, you WILL notice ghosting.. unfortunately this is one of those things LCD can NOT cope with at the moment. yes they save space and look pretty, but ill take a £200 21" CRT over a £200 17" LCD any day of the week....
Ebuyer.com currently have a 15" i think at just under £130 ... might be worth a look if your interested. KF

Has anyone heard of LCOS? "liquid crystal on silicone" I have not heard much on this yet a guy at work told me about it yesterday. I have not read up on it yet but this may be another option to LCD if you are willing to wait for a couple of months. I am not sure I am just throwing this out there as something to think about.
