Hercules muse xl problemos

I have a hercules muse xl 4.1 surround card, never used decided i wanted to. Popped in after unzip drivers, fine xp says yo , wheres drivers, i go yo they is here main man xp and it goes thankyoo ma homi - WASSUP and then continues to copy the files, givesme usual non driver signing message, copies files then gets to last file and freezes, igt just hangs, so i restart. Windows xp loadin screen just sits spinnin the loading thingy for hours, doesnt load, i unplug the pci card, voila it works again, i have tried different sets of drivers to no avail.

Just wondering if there were any bits of advice or woteva on what to do, and yes, the sound worked before the card with the inbuilt sounds, which i have disabled in bios before adding the card.

Thanks in advance

The Renegade Andy
