Thats Strange.

I have this problem. My computer boots up ok and stuff. I log on, then after about 15-20mins my computer starts to do stuff. And it won't load up Ctrl+Alt+Delete, to see whats going on, then i have to restart. I only have 1 ie open and it's been doing it every time. Is there anyway it's possible to get the system from 1 week ago because it wasen't doing it then?

Hey Osiris,
Have you installed any programs in the past week, reason I am asking is because it almost sounds like you are experiencing a memory leak with one of your programs. Either that or your memory might be going bad, how old is the system?

1-2 years old? i haven't installed anything. I've just done a full system scan. And when my dads been on it it's just printed something out from yestoday.

It's like the computer has confused itself.

Run a Scandisk and a Disk Defragmentation if you have not doen so recently.

I agree with the Memory leak as well.. thats not good. Do you have a program like NOrtom System works by chance?

Start running your file checkers, disk defragmentor, and anything else from NOrton System works. If there is an imbalance in your system that will track it down.

If that finds nothing.. there is a chance you have some spyware or a trojan lurking around.

Do you use Trojan Cleaner? If not.. do a search at www.google.com and find a copy of it to download and install it. That will make sure there are no trojan's running in the background.
