Photoshop question
), unfortunately I could only get ahold of an older version (5.0). My question is this....every time I go to export a file it wants to export it in 256 color mode. The graphic will look great in PS, but once I export it the quality goes WAY down. Is there a way to export a file in high color or true color, or is it just because it's an older version?

Are you trying to export something for the web? If so, I think you should have either an option to save a copy or save for web under the file command. If you don't see that, let me know and I'll reinstall 5.0 on another machine and go from there, as it's been a while since I've used that version ~Peace

yeah, I was trying to export an image (for a wallpaper actually), but it either wants to save it as a .psd file or a gif (which is the reason for the 256 colors as I understand it).
There's not a save to web option, but the save a copy thing worked well tho. Thanks again, man!
