media player will not install
Hi all i have yet another issue for all you tech brains out there.
The problem is this.I have installed windows media player 10 on my pc and it works fine but on my freinds it does not want to no. At first she had media player 9 so i went to microsoft and downloaded player 10 then when i clicked on the shorcut and in programs it said media player 10 needs to reinstall so i tryed 5 times no joy so i thought because she has pentium3 and the systems old i will just put player 9 back on but then it tells me i have a upgraded version. So i thought ok i will uninstall it completely then install a fresh media player 9 but it wont let me. Ive tryed add/remove prog its not there.I have tryed program files it will not let me so does anyone know of a simple way plz thanks Last edited by zerocool; 10-01-2005 at 01:58 PM. |

In add/remove programs->on the left there is a Add/Remove Windows components. It's usually there. I installed MP10 on Duron 750Mhz, Duron 1.1GHz, Pentium 3 600Mhz. So I guess it's not the old CPU. Something else - maybe any other component of Winboze. Anyways - MP is not that good at all
 you have plenty of other great player to use  Cheers
