trouble with Windows Media Player
My WMP has been acting up for a while now. Everytime I try to use it, an error message saying "an internal application error has occured" pops up. Ive DL'ed the newest version twice, hoping to retrieve files that may have been accidentally deleted whilst purging my cpu of viruses. No luck. I like WMP the best and Id really want to get it running again. Any advice?

Hiya weston
![]() What OS and version of wmp are you running there? Is there a specific error code that pops up with this error? I don't know if this will help out or not, but you may want to check it out anyways. click ~Peace DC

a lot of times you can have problems with newer codecs having conflicts with WMP. I never use WMP i use light alloy for my media player and it will play everything that WMP will play and there is a version for free on the internet.
