Zombie...A word of advice.... Please do not post the same exact questions both here and at www.unitthecows.com. These 2 sites are related and the same people frequent both sites.
You need to decide Which site to post your question on. IF your question is on a computer Technical issue (hardware/software), like your question about software for showing your battery life on your compaq--> post those questions HERE. For questions that have to do with FileSharing, P2P, or Video, like this codec question--which I already answered at UTC--> post those questions at www.unitethecows.com. If you are unsure you can always ask in one place, then if you don't get a helpful answer THEN post on the other site. Each site is unique and best to handle certain questions. And another SUGGESTION... It really is a good Idea to be as specific as you can in your subject line. The more specific you are the higher the probablity that you will attract the attention of someone who can help you. Things like "Codec problem, I think" would be attract more help if you tried something like "Windows Media Player giving a codec error message, need help", and "need a program" does not give very much information at all....Instead try something like "looking for a program that monitors/displays battery life"--something like that. Just trying to help you out, and get you the answers and help you are looking for.
