MS Office Xp not updating

maybe someone here can help??

i'm using windows xp home,i got microsoft office off the donkey network(an iso file) i'd never steal anything from ms i'm just borrowing it

Whenever i try to update ms office i get an error that says:

says 1error 1328 error applying pstch to file c:\config msi\pt4c.tmp.it has probably been updated by other means,and can no longer be modified.for more information contact your patch vendor"

cancel retry ignore

if i click ignore i get the same message but now for file
c:\config msi\pt62.tmp

retry cancel

the problem is that thhis office xp hasn't ever been updated...what could be wrong?

does anyone knows a solution?anything i can do?
