Registry Question....

Is there such a utility or script that would allow me to add certian things to my registry? I format my computer about every 4 - 6 months, and I like to associate certian extensions with a few utilities that I have. I hate having to go through and add each key manually. I would like to have somthing to do it for me. Can anyone help?

actually, this is a built in feature of windows :-)

go into regedit and navigate to the registry entries you want to automate, and go to file, export.

;-)

i don't think you can export them all together, but i do know that you can just take the contents of one reg file, and put it in the other...minus the first line of course ;-)

if you want to back up the whole registry you just have to right click on my computer icon in regedit and click export that way you'll get the whole registry...at least that's waht i do in windows xp(home edition) don't know about all the other versions of windows...
