speed up IE6 plz

Hi ther kool people

Does anyone know any tweaks etc for speeding up IE6
It seems to take an enternity to from 1 page to the next

Also for this reason Flash is not compat to Opera the current brower im using.

You could uncheck some of the Multimedia features in the Advanced section like "show pictures" and pages will load faster. Also you can set the "check for newer versions of stored pages" in the general settings to "automatically" to speed up your browsing.

Theres also a tweak where you change the MTU in windows I don't remeber how now but there a lot's of programs that tweak windows (and IE) for better conectivity.
But you must remember it only goes as fast as it's physical possible (56K can't go DSL speed ...)

i'm using opera 7.1 and have no problems with flash...maybe you unchecked something in the multimedia tab in preferences:?...i'm on a 56k and pages in opera take about 5 secs to load...
