Are you looking to just use your tv as an additional display?

.... or are you trying to import tv or video tapes onto your pc?

Most newer video cards have a composite video out which will allow you to connect to a tv or vcr.

If you want to import video, you will need a video capture card. If you go this route, check out the ATI All-in-Wonder series.... I belive that the 9700 AiW is the newest version.

I have the All in Wonder Radian with 32mb .... its about 4 years old... and its great for video editing and capture.

And the ATI 9700 card is great for computer gaming and applications as well. Thanks for the info jrwap.. I guess I need to think harder about the next card I am going to purchase now.
