Lightbulb What keeps you awake at night?

Or in other words - does anything help you stay in front of the PC up to early morning?

I've been working irregular shifts for over 14 years now, guess my body/mind has adapted to beeing awake at odd hours.
Haven't got a problem at all, staying awake for over 36 hours, and without any help that is, ok, i do drink a lot off coffee (strooooong ), but i even drink it just before going to bed, and it isn't keeping me awake.

Yay. That's the same with me when I drink some instant s**t. I can't stand this thing. Otherwise regular coffee, mmmm black, with nothing added. Perfect - in great quantities. I remember about 2 years ago trying to study for an exam and had 1 1/2 litres for about 4-5 hours. How do you suppose I feeled - yup kind of dru*ed. Dunno but after that never tried extreme things like that. Up to a litre per day is OK . And no need to say I failed the exam.

'Other'. Insomnia.

It does the trick. Only problem is that you WANT to sleep...

Here is what you dont do
Dont fill you bladder up and hope that the burning feeling will keep you awake. I tried this once when I needed to stay up for an exam. I got irritated and within 5 minutes I went to the can, took a leak and then fell asleep.

Stats are evil.

To stay awake? Dunno. I have flunked so many exams, one more isnt going to hurt

ha ha
