Question Will it hurt my games?

Hey guys im thinking of joining but can someone tell me if it would affect the performance of a game such at Unreal Tournament 2004 It uses spare CPU cycles but how quickly does it stop using cycles allowing other programs to use them? So during a game when I go from lets say a very contained part of a level, but then enter a part where there is a lot to be loaded (such as a large outdoor area), will the program immediately let go of any cycles it may be using or will there be a momentary battle between my game and cancer research?

Also my computer under full load tends to run at 58-59 degrees so do you think its still ok for me to keep this program running my processor at 100% keeping it constantly at this temp?

Please give me your honest opinions. Cheers.

K-C

Wobbel is on a distinguished road
I did take a look at the cpu performance, when doing almost nothing, ud takes 98-100%.
But as soon as i start photoshop, or another 'high' consuming prog, ud immediately drops, there seems to be almost no 'lag'
But thats just my experience, i would say, just install it, try it out for a while, if it is taking to much resources, in your opinion, delete it.
At least you have tried it then.

I have recently become a member as well, and i have found it keeps my pentium 4 2.2 around the 50 degree mark, on about 99% cpu , when i play Enemy Territory however, if you miniize quickly and check your cpu usage using a program that allows you to do so , such us UD you find its using around 1% - 2% of your cpu.

You're cpu can never be used at 100% either, as the minute cycles it runs means that it a program could detect its using 100% of the cpu time, then how could it tell that without it adding to the cpu requests!?

Well, thats all i wanted to say tata for now haha thats cool

if it becomes a problem, just turn off the UD agent before you game...and start it up again when you're done
