Maybe it's the words that are coming from a geek. This is geekspeak - an IRC command for RadioBot's dictionary.

thanks for your help everyone, looks like i got lots of coding to do.

for those yet to come accross it, geekspeak is a complete referance library of all the computer terminology we can possible pack in to one irc bot, if you want to find out what a term means, just join any irc channels thathas RaDiOBot in and type 'geekspeak' followed by the word you want translated.

< RipperRoo >geekspeak bios

< RaDiOBoT > BIOS Basic Input Output System
< RaDiOBoT > Software Built Into All PC's To Control The Basic Operations Of Devices Such As The Screen, Hard Disk Drive And Keyboard.

request

those of you who add command suggestions, please help out by putting a definition or description with the word, this will help with adding the commands to the bot.

and for those wishing to be real helpfull, here is an example line from the geekspeak dictionry so you know how to code additions.

on *:text:geekspeak?Executable?files:*: .msg $chan 4 Executable files | .msg $chan 6 These are launchable programs, which have the file extension. EXE. Clicking on an executable file will start it running - it may be an application, an animated greeting card or a game, for example. Avoid launching. EXE email attachments, as these may carry computer viruses.

to simplify that::::

on *:text:geekspeak?WORD?OR?PHRASE:*: .msg $chan 4 WORD OR PHRASE | .msg $chan 6 DESCRIPTION OR DEFINITION HERE...........

in the on line, the words need to be seperated by question marks.

Thanks for all those that help, and remember you dont have to code it, but it would help in faster addition.
