Upgrade's on a budget
Hey gang.
It certainly has been a very very long time! After graduating, I worked for a year and then I started a master's. But as a lurked around I saw plenty of my old friends/piers (lion, Caly etc) but I didn't see some others, Greff, LP, Cirga and Berks. I do hope all is well with you guys... Now I have a huge frame rate issue when i am playing some games, particularly during some boss encounters and I would appreciate a little bit of help on what the fastest and (cheapest) way to fix this problem is. Current specs AMD Athlon 2200XP+ 1.8ghz 1 gig of ram 128 meg ATI9250+ card Now being back at university I am on a strict and tight budget, but in very technical and complicated encounters my fram rate drops to 3-5 FPS making the game virtually unplayable, causing me to die and the rest of my teammates to also die If I was to do a full upgrade, I would need to start over, the power supply is only 350 watts, the case I guess I could reuse, and the motherboard I just replaced a couple of years ago with a fairly decent (at the time) Asus. Any decent suggestions are more than welcome. Good to see all of you again. |
