Sli,sata2, Pci-e

I've read a few kinda yucky forums (random google searchs on this topic) and I haven't really found any up to date info at all, mostly dating 04, Toms Harware had a little bit to say, but in the conclusion stated that the sata2 and sli are pretty much at par with the norm of date(a high end agp, and sata 150) I also read that for this gear to even come close to the potential they have that cpu's would have to run about double or even triple spead of whats available today. I mention this because I was planning to jump up to the 939 socket, with sli and the sata 2. When i got my 754 socket the 939, for some reason, was way more expensive, and runnin at about the same speed. So just basically just looking to see what some other folks thoughts/comments are on this new gear(the dual gpu cards etc. as well)
