Talking Your suggestions pls

Hey guys ... so im gonna spend a bit of money on my computer come the end of the summer when hopefully i should have some!

Ive already decided on 3 new hdds, watercoolin kit and some sleeving, thing is i think im gonna need a new psu cus mines runnin mighty hot as it is let alone powering anythin else, ill b running;

1 CD-Rom
1 CDRW
1 floppy
LCD Screen
2 hdds
Watercooling
2 case fans
and last but not least my cathodes

at the mo im runnin all this bar the watercooling off a 350 Watt so im lookin for sumthin not too expensive for a psu but somethin reliable and preferably quiet as theres really no point in me doing my watercooling if im gonna have a loud psu. Anyway any1 suggest a good brand, supplier?

P.S preferably UK

Cheers

I fixed your subject. You will attract more replies if you are specific in your subject line.

Cirga and Nutndun have gotten new PSUs, and search through our review section...there are a couple of nice reviews in there.

Recently I bought a Thermaltake Silent Pure Power 480 W Xaser Ed. with Active PFC (can the name be any longer? ). It is very very silent, in fact at 75% of max rpm I can only hear the CPU fan (the CPU fan is noisy at max rpm, but I use Asus Q-Fan which adjusts speed depending on cpu temp). The PSU also has external rpm adjustment (for 5"1/4 or PCI slot) and rpm monitoring sensor (to plug to the m/b). There is also a Serial ATA power connector supporting hotswap, too. It is however expensive... But considering I blew up a 350W PSU after 6 months of use, it was a wise decission to get a quality psu that lasts for the next few years.

That 350W PSU was probably bad. Before I had a 230 W PSU that I had running for more than 4 years and no problems. The voltages were even more stable with the 230 W (both 5v and 12v rails). Very bad quality, the numbers are not everything. I bought a new housing with a 400W Agiler PSU (hoping this should be enough), but this one wasn't doing very well either, the 5v rail was weak, and the 12v rail was too high (over 13v). For this reason I spent 100 € on the Thermaltake PSU, I don't want more trouble.
