I went to my local auto parts store and bought "split loom" wire and hose covering. I went to a major chain (Pep Boys) and they had a nice selection of colors. It is mostly available in black, which still looks good. I have also seen it available in Home Improvement Centers.(Centres fer you in the UK)

Hehe, if you've got any left over Pasty plz give us a ring and i'll buy the last bit off you. Ive got an Enermax PSU with enough cable to stretch round the case twice!

Hey Pasty, it looks like ya got everything all wrapped, if not pretty, it is functional. If ya decide to go with the split loom covers, this will make it extremely easy to put them on. The only hard part of using this product (and this aint that hard really) is trying to get the split over the group of wires you want to cover. I used zip ties, but they created a little bump. No biggie, but the wrapped wires will probably be a snap!
I have found that the sleeved wires are very easy to manipulate when I need to move them out of the way. The nature of the split loom is such that you can twist the cable out of your way and it will stay put. I highly recommend it. |
