for an extra £8 you can get a 120 gig western digital from ebuyer. or you could get a 60 and save £15, personaly i would spend the extra 7 for the motherboard cpu and ram, i would go to novatech.co.uk http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/s...html?MBB-KT424 this bundle is a slight downgrade on the cpu 2400), but it also includes 512mb of 333 DDR and even taking delivery into account at £169.98 Inc VAT its still going to cost you £10 less Price: £22.85 (£26.85 Including VAT at 17.5%) and if that 400w psu your planing to get is Qtec, dont, ive heard bad things about thier 400 watt units, but i got two of thier 550's (about £35 ea) and they are worth the extra money. in the uk, the place to go for q-tec 550's is Q-tec @ ocuk Price: £22.85 (£26.85 Including VAT at 17.5%) + delivery , if you do decide to stick with the 400w they are Price: £15.65 (£18.39 Including VAT at 17.5%) + delivery

i would personally advise against a c-thru case since they are really only suitable for demo machines. arylic gets scratched VERY easily and youll find that using a crap cloth to clean the acrylic will also reduce the cases overall appeal as scratches begin to develop.
only go for an acrylic if youll hardly touch your machine. which i doubt!

i just bought a case as well as the hard drive from e-buyer,
an antec plusview 1000amg, LINK £61.86 inc VAT, that and the 60 gig hard drive i got at the same time cost me £125 inc next buisiness day delivery, one thing i will say, tho the case arrived missing 2 fans a set of keys and the fixings pack, and im going to have to wait until tuesday before getting them, so check the box carfully when it arrives and play merry hell if you have any problems.

Just a question for you Brits. What are the Computer Fairs you guys are always on about?
I picture some open air, almost medeviel, market (you guys all live in castles and thatched roof cottages, right?) with chickens scurrying about as the merchants try to hawk all the latest in high-tech gear.......... |

Basically it's what you just said hehe. Some people sell some top quality kit while others sell cheap junk, which some times can be really useful. Really cheap and great for looking at stuff you want to buy

hey you guys when we have computer fairs we all dress up in medievil gear and trade everything in chickens................ is that not the point
j/k yeah the fairs are basicly other people flogging anything computer related. you know some of the stuff is cheap because it "fell off the back of a truck" you know it might be damaged lol |
