Hi and Welcome to PCTT....
What I suppose is that you change the FSB bus speed. And it goes to some point right? But what happens after you reach 2314? Restart? BSODs? Probably you'll need to go to the BIOS and use ASUSs bios features to overclock the CPU (change multiplier first, the the fsb bus speed, and after that probably increase the voltage a bit). The voltage increase might result in an increased CPU temperature, but is needed for the CPU to remain stable at the overclock point. http://www.ben.pope.name/a7n8x_faq.html - here a good guide for your mobo. Good luck |

Cheers. You got the speed of an equivalent 3800+ CPU
. Just be careful when you OC more.. check your temps regularly, and burn the CPU with benchmarks (Prime95 for example) for hours before trying to OC at next level.
