Well to be honest I was having this issue with one of my computers and I have no clue how the settings came about setting it up as so but you might wanna right click the shortcut that is linking you .exe aka the music program shortcut and go to properties and check if its loading through the network or the normal hard drive path.
A network would be a path like... \\COMPUTER NAME\Hard Drive\Program Files\Program Folder\ ^ If its running like this you will get nice lag. Atleast from what I have seen. If you do have this issue. Best I can recommend is naving to the folder the program is in and creating a new shortcut and then dragging it into the start menu after deleting the old one. In most cases this fixed my issue. If you are still running slow it might be the program or something. Maybe even the hardware but I doubt that.Another thing you can do is ctrl+alt+delete and check the performance tab and watch it when you start the program. For all you know this program is a ram and cpu hog. If that is the case you would get lag. |
