tried to update windows and this pops up

Network policy settings prevent you from using this website to get updates for your computer

i have disabled them still happens.

If your computer is connected to a Windows 2000 or 2003 Server, that means that the netadmin has disabled this function. Only the netadmin can enable it again.

Use ~AutoPatcher~ - far better for updating many PCs with Windows or having all the recent patches in one place.

will this allow you to update if you cannot connect to MS and download the updates from them? My version will no longer allow me to update!

It does not depend on connection

. You download, select updates to install.. and they install because they are included in the AutoPatcher... you don't have to download anything
