Cant install any programs or drivers

Hey,

I downloaded a driver for my epson printer from epson.com and when i try to install i get :

16 bit Windows Subsystem

C:\Windows\System32\Autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS_DOS and microsoft windows applications. Choose Close to terminate the application.

I get this anytime i want to install any old-ish games or any programs or drivers. How can i install it?

The problem was with correupted system files :

autoexec.nt
config.nt
command.com

So this is how you fix.

At the command prompt, type the following commands, pressing ENTER after each command:

Code:
expand CD-ROM Drive Letter:\i386\config.nt_ c:\windows\system32\config.nt
expand CD-ROM Drive Letter:\i386\autoexec.nt_ c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt
expand CD-ROM Drive Letter:\i386\command.co_ c:\windows\system32\command.com
exit
And it will recover those 3 important system files.
