Using xp.
well i've tried it both ways, cmd prompt and through the gui. But I was wondering where I can get the log of the verbose output. To tell you the truth I remember looking at the log a long time ago, I just don't remember where its at. doing it from the cmd prompt just gives you this. Quote:

maybe you should check the system logs.
Look for it somewhere in the administrative tools in configuration panel.
