XP DOS Install
Hey ppl. Ive been trying to get XP Pro SP1 but it seems the ones I get are in another language or dont have the files to make it boot.
Heres the thing...how do I make a non-boot XP cd have the dos menu like a regular pre-boot xp cd?

Try www.bootdisk.com if the disk image isnt bootable, its going to be a bitch to make it bootable.

I kinda figured someone would say making a boot menu would be hard. Can a XP Pro SP1 bootdisk let me access the cd in dos and run a setup from there? Sry but Im still new to xp...

probably, but one thing I've noticed with the ms boot disks, is that the os's must match up.
Here... I found something for you. For XP PRO SP1 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...2-631504EF5E26 That will give you the MS Installer to make a set of boot disks for XP. Reading your post though, if your copy of XP is in a different language, it might still not work once its installed.
