Windows 2000 Pro directories...
This is not a major problem or anything, but I would like to fix it since it is a small hassle. When I install programs on my windows 2000 machine (admin), it will normally either place the shortcuts in
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Start Menu\ (good, since I am the only one using the computer) or C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\ It does the same thing for the desktop shortcuts too. So my first question is, is there a way to force every program's shortcuts to be installed to the Administrator account? The problem that I'm having is that when they are installed to the All Users account, the shortcuts do not show up in the start menu or on the desktop unless I manually browse to that directory. This problem is not present on my other windows 2000 machine. Any ideas?
