This should help u out, follow the instructions on here and it will integrate SP1 into Win XP and make a bootable install. Done it myself very handy and not too complicated

Followed the guide to a tea BUT
I'm having a few conflits with computer right so i try typing sfc /scannow the get windows file protection : it then asks me to insert Windows xp professional service pack 1 cd --- when i install it from hard drive so how can i insert cd as above when sp1 aint bootable I have Slipstreamed xp+sp1a but still asking from as above what should i do |

I am not sure if you are able to make the service pack one bootable, I was able to get service pack one on cd from microsoft. If you want a copy i am sure that I can upload it considering it is legal to share it. let me know, cheers
