winxp startup process???

i have this 77183169.exe thing runnin in my startup process.....im guessin what this could be???!!!!!!

no idea...definately doesn't come with windows. i'd take it out of startup and see if anything screws up.

i have something called DXMpatch_98116.exe runnin on my comp which is a patch,... i think lol..

everytime i startup it comes up with a different number ...now its 62273806.exe!!!!!...wonderin if this is related to the united device agent!!????

There is a Trojan program..I forget the name,(The Cleaner) that changes everytime time you reboot, so that it can't be targeted by a Virus..do you have a Trojan program installed..if so, whats the name..??

i know what you mean when you talk about UD...but the UD process with the random numbers has the prefix of "ud" so it's probably not it.

Go here and post about your problem..they will tell you to download a program called Hijackthis..you post the results & they will tell you what to do from there.

Spybot, like Ad-aware..only detects Adware & specific Spyware..it will not detect a Virus or a Trojan.

i had this 77183169.exe runnin from my c:\windows\system32 dir ...went into the dir n deleted the entries...now it doesnt show up in processes anymore...even after a startup!!!.....but still wanna do trojan scan.... any free good trojanware util's??? thanx lion ..tried the hackthis util from the site ...it shows up what all is runnin in my comp....now after i removed this exe from my sys....would still like to know if theres any threat still lurkin around???
