Please Read if you need help!
Thought it might be a good idea to list what is very helpful for us to see to help troubleshoot any problems you are having.
Here is a list of things we really do need to see in order to help you as quickly as possible with your problems. 1. Operating System 2. Firewall Software 3. Network Card (Brand and model please). 4. Driver Dates 5. Network Map (What is connected to what - Routers, other computers, servers) 6. Internet Connection (Cable, DSL, ISP - optional) 7. IP Address Information --------- How do I find my Network card brand and Driver dates? -Right click on "My Computer". Then you should see a tab up top that says Device Manager. In the Device Manager you will see a "Network Adapters" icon. Open that up and then view the properties on the card listed in there. IF it is not properly installed it will be a Yellow Question Mark in the Device manager called something like "PCI Ethernet Adapter" etc. How do I find my IP Address Information on my computer? - Click on the "Start" Button. Click on "Run". In the field there enter in either "cmd" or "command" and hit enter. Once the dos prompt window has opened at the command line type in "ipconfig". This will display everything which is needed. Record your IP Address, Netmask, and Default Gateway. ----- If you can think of anything else that is helpful please include it in your post. And thanks everyone! (if I missed anything please add some more to this thread).
