Can't Ping my laptop

I am running a wireless home netowrk using the SBC 2Wire router/modem. I recently added a laptop to my network and I can ping my PC from my laptop but not my laptop from my PC. Everything is wireless; the PC has a netgear 802.11b wireless USB adapter and the laptop is using a built-in broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN.

Sorry ddn't read further, I disabled both firewalls and I was able to ping both ways but now I cannpt send a net send either way. I started the service but with no success.

Is everything configured on the laptop? IPs , DNS, etc? or you get these by DHCP? Are you able to ping outside hosts for example yahoo.com? Or it cannot resolv their IPs?
