Network Help

My friends setup was Networked...she took it down cause she moved..now it is back up...but something is wrong.
You used to be able to get good speeds transferring files from 1 to the other..now just the Master seems to work right.
Files from Master to Slave 10MB takes seconds....
from Slave to Master takes 10MB 20 minutes.
What could I have missed on setup?

try installing the latest drivers for the network cards, it may be that the windows standard drivers aint upto the job.

I take it there isn't a router involved here?

I can't see you missing anything there on setup is all that happened was powering down and unplugging there. Just for the hell of it, are you able to map a drive from the primary system on the secondary one? Also, maybe try another cable (couldn't hurt)
