motorola sbg 900 gateway

Here is my problem. I bought a motorola sbg 900 (router/cable modem combined). I lose signal strength. Which is better a repeater or an access point to boost my signal.

A repeater. An access point would only go from where your cable is. Like a wireless router. Actually some are access points. A repeater would allow you to pick up the signal from somewhere and boost it and continue to send it to where you are.

Hey berks what's up? The weather here is great. Low 80's to low 90"s. None of that scorching sun anymore. We will give you a ring sometime soon. Come and visit.
