Clooney's next role

George Clooney, ever the busy man, has signed on to star in the upcoming directorial debut of BOURNE IDENTITY/SUPREMACY writer Tony Gilroy titled MICHAEL CLAYTON. Clooney will not be starring as the second-year Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout (though that certainly would show some acting chops) but will instead play a lawyer dubbed "The Janitor" because of his uncanny ability to clean up the assorted messes of his clients' personal lives. The thriller focuses specifically on one specific mess and the worst four days of Clayton's life.
