Shortly I'll be posting a more in-depth look at the summer movies of 2005 but I'm inclined to believe that one movie that could be a big sleeper hit is AEON FLUX. I'm mildly frightened it could come off like a futuristic TOMB RAIDER (which Paramount seems intent on marketing it as) but I've talked to some people with knowledge of the film that it's more than that. When you look at it, it's really got a great cast with two Oscar-winners (Charlize Theron and Frances McDormand) and one Oscar-nominee (Sophie Okonedo). I'm waiting anxiously to see how this film develops over the course of the next month or so to see how things shape up as we near the film's August release.
