Sci Fi Wire caught up with MATRIX franchise producer Joel Silver at WonderCon and he confirmed that he is indeed trying to get genre genius Joss Whedon to direct a big screen version of WONDER WOMAN. According to Silver, the movie would be a reinvention in the same way Tim Burton reinvented BATMAN and Richard Donner reinvented SUPERMAN.
