Flashing the BIOS
Hey ppl
Ive had the Award BIOS 4.51 PNG BIOS for way too long...seriously way too long If some of you know this BIOS has a 32 GB limit, i though it was windows 98 SE, the first win 98 had 30 gb limit, SE has much larger limit. I came across some bios flashers. They reminded me when i flashed the firmware of my first burner so i was thinking to try them. The burner firmware update was success mind you Anyway heres two descriptions 1. Belarc report 2. BIOS report Belarc..... Well, it appears to be a Compaq, so I'd start there.
Edit: Here is the link Compaq (They are part of HP now, so you might get ALOT of HP hits in the search too) /Edit Just search for your model number on their site and see what you can come up with. If they don't have it, it might be a little more difficult to find an update. As a LAST resort, you can probably get it from Award, but usually OEMs tend to customize them a bit more. |

Thx for helping me out Sinkalip but i checked the site...compaq
Problem is i cant find the award site and some other places send u a chip...i wouldnt mind but id rahter do a BIOS hot-flash. Risky but im that kinda guy

OMG i am an idiot!!
I remember those sites. I managed to find the numbers for my onboard audio and firmware for my burner. I'll check em now and tommorrow since its late but i cant believe i forgot those sites
