Windows messenger

Is it just me or has the .net service been having alot of trouble lately with messenger. I tried all day the other day to sign in and couldn't. I'm sure they have alot of other things that are more important but when I wanna get ahold of someone dammit I wanna be able to do it

Hotmail has been "temporarily unavailable" or at least very slow for quite a while now. I don't use windows messenger .... I'd rather get lots of spam via ICQ ....
